Step 1: Carefully twist the succulent leaves in a gentle left-right motion. Avoid damaging the main stem to prevent potential issues like diseases or mould. And remember, practice makes perfect!

Step 2: Prepare a soil tray with drainage holes to allow excess water to escape and prevent rot. Gently place the succulents on the soil—any side works!

Step 3: You're at the final and most critical step—this greatly impacts your succulents' survival rate! Avoid watering them during the first week to encourage root growth. Begin watering only from the second week onwards, as early watering may lead to dependency and hinder root development.

After step 3, mist the succulents once a week as part of the watering cycle. If the weather is humid or it's raining, skip watering and resume in the next cycle!

Singapore's humidity can often pose challenges for succulent beginners, leading to accidental plant loss—a common and disheartening experience. Sadly, many give up on this rewarding hobby. At GreenCuddleSG, we’re here to make gardening enjoyable and to show that succulents are fun and easy once you master the techniques!
